Scott & White Cancer Center - Hillcrest
Each year, about 2,600 new patients in the six-county area that Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center - Scott & White Healthcare serves are diagnosed with cancer, most commonly lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers. Waco residents will receive cancer screening, the most advanced diagnosis and treatment, and follow-up care close to home, with help from Scott & White cancer care experts at the new Scott & White Cancer Center - HIllcrest.
Scott & White Cancer Center - HillcrestOther targeted therapies—including chemotherapy and radiation—and expertise among the 12 Scott & White multidisciplinary teams of physicians and caregivers will be brought to this area so that patients can have the best hope for survival and the highest quality of life possible. It’s the kind of care patients need to have available nearby, with minimal disruption to their families’ lives.
Ground was broken on the Scott & WhiteCancer Center - Hillcrest in September 2012, with plans for the center to be completed and open to patients in Fall 2013.
