Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Scott & White Healthcare - Round Rock is dedicated to providing our families in the area with the highest level care for their loved ones, especially their children. Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) services enhance and expand this care to the tiniest of babies.

A  Level II NICU is being planned for Scott & White Healthcare - Round Rock. The hospital already has 24/7 coverage by a neonatologist, but needs a unit specially designed to handle this type of care. This new NICU will offer assisted ventilation to premature babies as well as other specialized services. The pediatric team at Round Rock will coordinate closely with specialists at the recently opened McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White in Temple, the newest pediatric hospital in the state and the only facility of its kind between Dallas and Austin. Of the 350 NICUs worldwide, McLane Children’s ranks among the top in survival of fragile newborns, some weighing less than one pound.

Fundraising goal: $1 million

For more information on how you can support this initiative at Scott & White, contact the Scott & White Healthcare Foundation Round Rock Regional Office.

You can also make a secure, online donation to support neonatal care in Williamson and North Travis counties.

Empower healthcare excellence with your gift.
